Introduction

The From Bud to Bub^TM pregnancy calendar is a new pregnancy calendar that was designed and produced in Western Australia. It uses current scientific knowledge to describe what is happening with the baby's growth and development for each of the 266 days of pregnancy.  Events are described as closely as possible to the day they occur.  On each day of the pregnancy calendar is a piece of information that describes what is currently happening in the baby's development. For example -

 

Find out when a baby can -

• open its eyelids
• start to swallow
• move its fingers

And on what day -

• lungs start to work
• fingernails develop
• the heart begins to beat
